To showcase the growing New York City trend of New York restaurants going gratuity free, SJC Brooklyn’s Hospitality and Tourism Management chair Damien Duchamp hosted an all-star panel of local restaurateurs who support the movement.

To raise awareness of ALS and Ride For Life, Chris Pendergast made a visit to both campuses of St. Joseph’s College.

Nov. 30 — Lunch With a Mad Man
Decades after John McVicker he helped Buy the World a Coke as part of the McCann Erickson creative team, he moved to the academic world as an instructor at New York City College of Technology. A position he currently holds, and one that prepared him well for his SJC debut this November. McVicker hosted a presentation on concept-driven advertising to SJC students, staff and faculty.
