Elaine Thoelen Mastrapasqua ’71 retired from the YMCA in December 2012. Last summer, she and her husband, Stephen, spent two weeks in Alaska, where they enjoyed a cruise and travel by domed railcar. Their most memorable moments were catching a salmon, seeing the Mendenhall Glacier and eating reindeer sausage. Last September, the couple celebrated their 35th anniversary while on a cruise from New York City to Halifax, Nova Scotia. While docked in Boston, they arranged to meet a priest formerly from their Saratoga parish, who performed an anniversary ceremony and again blessed their wedding rings.
