St. Joseph’s University, New York’s Long Island Campus is set to host a number of exciting upcoming Campus Ministry events this semester.
There will be plenty of opportunities for new and returning students to live our mission while engaging with such values as spiritual depth, social responsibility, integrity, and service.
“Campus Ministry is a vital resource for our campus community, providing numerous opportunities for students to engage in activities that are directly related to the mission and identity of our University,” said Jonathan Galo, director of Campus Ministry. “I want to encourage students to participate in the various events that we have going on to further enhance their student life experience and to learn more about themselves, their peers, our community, and the world around them.
“Our programming ranges from faith-based events such as weekday Mass and our Catholic Fellowship Ministry, to service projects like our Fall Food Drive and Christmas Gift drive, to collaborative events such as Campus Perspectives and Peace of Mind with the Center for Counseling and Wellness,” he continued. “There is a little something for everyone to participate in. I want to just encourage our students to take part in some of these events and open themselves up to new experiences that will in turn hopefully make an impact in their lives.”
