Most excited for: I’m the treasurer of Book Club and I’m also in Greek life, so definitely recruitment for Greek life and seeing Book Club shine, because we are a new club and we want to make it come off the ground.
Biggest challenge: Balancing school and work. I do work full time and go to school full time, so finding time to do homework, but also decompress and take time for myself, is definitely going to be a struggle.
Advice to first-semester self: Definitely get involved. Looking back, if I didn’t get involved, I wouldn’t have started a club with my friends. As a senior now, I’m extremely involved.
Frank Arevalo ’24
Most excited for: Passing all my classes and taking another step toward graduating.
Biggest challenge: Managing time with sports, school and work.
Advice to first-semester self: Keep on track with homework and classwork because time flies.
Enrique Gress ’26
Most excited for: All the events. There are so many clubs, so it’s going to be fun. I’m most excited for an event where Circle K and Green Team are collaborating on making a garden behind the Clare Rose Playhouse.
Biggest challenge: Calculus, most definitely.
Advice to first-semester self: Use the tutoring office.
Rachel Meltsin ’26
Most excited for: The things I’m looking forward to most this semester are meeting with my friends again and having lunch with them.
Biggest challenge: Preseason (volleyball) is going to be hard, managing school and work.
Advice to first-semester self: Take a deep breath and don’t overthink anything.
