Students, faculty and staff at SJC Long Island were treated Thursday — the second day of fall classes — to a Disney-themed “Welcome Back Barbecue” on the Danzi Knoll.
The annual Campus Activites Board event was a huge success as the crowd under sunny skies devoured burgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese, salads and Mister Softee, while also enjoying a photo booth, zip lining and a mechanical bull.
“It is refreshing to see my classmates, and I am glad to be taking another step forward in my academic career,” said David Turner, who has started his second year at SJC Long Island.
