Navigating the Changes in O’Connor Hall

SJC Long Island was busy this summer making improvements across the campus. If you’re a returning student, you may have noticed that some offices have been relocated. Don’t worry, you can still find your SGA friends on the second floor of O’Connor Hall, just steps from the Quad.

Behind a welcome desk and reception area, you will find the offices of security, global studies, student involvement and leadership, SGA/CAB, multicultural student life and campus ministry. The veterans’ resource center and veterans’ lounge are also located here.

This brand new space includes open areas for lounging, recharging electronic devices and socializing with fellow students. This innovative, warm and welcoming area will greet students and visitors as they enter O’Connor Hall from the new Quad.

Once inside O’Connor Hall, don’t forget to visit The Perch, SJC Long Island’s brand new cafe located on the third floor, where students, staff, faculty and visitors can grab a cup of Starbucks coffee and snacks between classes.
