Campus Ministry will celebrate the successes of its holiday food and toy drives with an event on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
In addition to the annual Holiday Food Drive, Campus Ministry partnered with the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) this holiday season to collect and donate toys for St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital and Toys for Tots.
Tuesday’s celebration event will take place from 12:40-6 p.m in the St. Angela Hall common space. Join Camus Ministry for food, games, and card-making for St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital patients. Ugly sweater attire is recommended.
Donation boxes can be found outside of Student Life through Monday, Dec. 12.
Students, faculty, and staff at St. Joseph’s University, New York’s Brooklyn Campus can still donate non-perishable food and hygienic items to the Campus Ministry office in Tuohy Hall room 205 through the holiday season.
This year’s aim was not only to collect enough food to provide holiday baskets to food-insecure students but to also restock the University’s food pantry.
A full list of food and other items needed for the initiative can be found here.
