St. Joseph’s University, New York students from both campuses dressed in pink this month, raising money and showing support to those battling breast cancer.
Members of student clubs, organizations and athletic teams fought for the cause through participation in such events as the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks at Jones Beach and Coney Island, as well as the annual flag football tournament hosted by the Long Island Campus’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Theta Phi Alpha, Delta Phi Epsilon, Beta Upsilon Delta, Long Island Campus’ Dance Team, Long Island Campus’ women’s soccer team and Brooklyn Campus’ women’s volleyball team were among those who showed their support during the month of October.
