On May 13, students, faculty and trustees gathered in the Parlors of Burns Hall and Tuohy Hall’s auditorium for St. Joseph’s University, New York’s “Toast to the Graduates” celebration for the Class of 2025.
Yashal Jalil ‘25, Brooklyn Campus valedictorian, delivered her valedictory speech and Colleen Egan ’25 was presented with the Boomgaarden Leadership in Action Award by Christopher R. Carroll ’88, chair of SJNY’s Board of Trustees. SJNY President Donald R. Boomgaarden, Ph.D., shared warm remarks and offered words of encouragement to the Class of 2025. Brooklyn Alumni Board President Dr. Ronna Feit ’80 spoke about St. Joe’s robust alumni network.
The celebration concluded with an official toast to the graduates led by Executive Dean Phillip Dehne, Ph.D.
