The accolades continue to pour in as St. Joseph’s University, New York is once again recognized among the nation’s top universities by U.S. News & World Report. Coming in at the number 56 spot among regional universities in the North, SJNY also earned the number 39 spot among Top Private Universities in the North, and ranked number 22 among Best Colleges for Veterans.
For more than a decade, St. Joseph’s University has been continuously recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the leading institutions in the Regional Universities — North Category. The University’s continued recognition reflects its commitment to academic excellence and student success, as noted by SJNY President Donald R. Boomgaarden, Ph.D.
“St. Joseph’s University is proud to once again be recognized among the nation’s leading universities,” said President Boomgaarden, “This recognition reflects the extraordinary commitment of our faculty and staff, as well as the transformative educational experience we provide our students.”
U.S. News & World Report assesses universities based on several factors related to student success and institutional resources, student outcomes, graduation and first-year retention rates, earnings by major, peer assessment, faculty resources, financial resources and more.
In addition to U.S. News and World Report, SJNY received recognition from several other highly-esteemed publications including Money, Colleges of Distinction and TIME, the last of which recently published its inaugural America’s Best Colleges ranking, with the University placing among the top 30% of institutions nationwide.
