SJC Long Island graduate T.E. Hahn returns to campus Wednesday, Oct. 9, during Common Hour for a book reading and an author lecture about his soon-to-be-published debut novel “Open My Eyes.”
In 2007, Hahn earned a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Joseph’s, and later received an M.F.A. in Fiction from Fairfield University. He is a research fellow and Ph.D. student at St. John’s University, specializing in contemporary American short fiction and gender studies. Hahn teaches literature at Great Neck North High School and St. John’s University.
“I can’t wait to see Tommy again! I’m hoping some alumni join us for the event, as they may have the day off from public schools,” said Judith Phagan, D.A., professor and chair of English at St. Joseph’s College.
The event will be held in the Shea Conference Room. A light lunch will be served.
The book, which is available for preorder now, is set to be published in November.
