They laughed, they cried and now they’re just about ready to say goodbye.
SJC Long Island’s graduating seniors attended Cap and Gown Pickup Thursday, May 9, in the Eagle’s Nest Cafe. Throughout the day, students reminisced about their years spent at St. Joseph’s College — the struggles they had, the friends they made and the obstacles they overcame — as they took the next step in their journey toward the diploma they will receive at commencement on May 29 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
After picking up their academic attire, members of the Class of 2019 spoke with Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement Lisa Galasso ’08, M.S./M.B.A. ’13, about their time at the College, recounting favorite memories, thanking those who inspired them and sharing what’s next after graduation.
