St. Joseph’s College’s Virtual Book Club members had a chance to join Ashley Audrain, author of “The Push,” for a live author talk on Tuesday, March 8.
“The Push,” Audrain’s first novel, follows a woman whose own childhood experience left her nervous about becoming a parent herself. When she does, however, she’s convinced there’s something wrong with her daughter — and that she’s possibly dangerous.
This page-turning psychological drama kickstarted SJC’s Virtual Book Club with its first reading of 2022.
The College’s Virtual Book Club, which was created in 2020 as a way to offer safe social engagement during the pandemic, selects what books to read by voting via the online discussion board. The next book is The New York Times bestseller “The Henna Artist” by Alka Joshi.
