St. Joseph’s College President Donald R. Boomgaarden, Ph.D., recently completed a series of episodes for the third season of the Catholic Faith Network (CFN) series “Living Our Mission.”
The series features Dr. Boomgaarden’s interviews with St. Joseph’s students, staff, faculty and alumni. The episodes cover a broad range of topics, including service and mission, alumni giving, academics, student life and athletics, and maintaining connections during a global pandemic.
The episodes were filmed at SJC Brooklyn and SJC Long Island.
Season three guests are Dr. Peter Lin, associate chair of psychology; Dr. Tom Petriano, professor and chair of religious studies; Dr. Heather Barry, associate provost and professor of history; Dr. Frank Antonawich, professor of biology; Paulina Melin, director of alumni engagement; SJC alumna Margaret Broda ’04; Shantey Hill, vice president for student life; Janelle Hill, associate vice president for student life; and SJC Brooklyn student Ashleigh Hartwig ’22 and SJC Long Island student Antonia Dickson ’23.
Previous guests have discussed topics related to the COVID-19 pandemic; military and veterans affairs; the College’s history; and admissions and financial aid.
The new episodes will air on the Catholic Faith Network in early 2022. In the meantime, you can view episodes from seasons one and two on catholicfaithnetwork.org.
