SJC Brooklyn’s Office of Student Life is set to host a series of events this month about standing up against violence and sexual assault. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend these interactive discussions, workshops and training sessions to gain a broader understanding of the importance of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
In recent years, there has been increased attention to issues regarding sexual assault. This includes the #MeToo movement, which helped break the silence and enforced the idea that survivors of sexual assault are not alone.
