Students, faculty and staff at St. Joseph’s University, New York’s Long Island Campus enjoyed beautiful autumn weather as they celebrated the season during the annual Fall Fest Carnival on October 31.
Hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA), the annual event is an effort to get students, faculty and staff in the fall spirit. This year’s event featured a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, live band, games and food.
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) provided a high striker event that had dozens of students competing to see who could hit the high striker the highest.
“I loved witnessing everyone together in the same place, talking to people who they may not have known, sharing a common interest,” said Emma Koyl ’25, CAB co-president. “We wanted everyone to have a memorable Halloween.”
The Sharps performed a live acapella performance following a performance by the Long Island Dance Team, The Eaglettes.
E-board members of the 40+ student clubs and organizations tabled at the event, giving students the opportunity to interact and learn more about ways to get involved on campus.
