Nearly 300 students from 13 Long Island high schools participated Wednesday in the annual Ready. Set. Lead Business Competition at St. Joseph’s University, New York’s Long Island Campus.
The young participants were challenged to demonstrate their business skills and knowledge through a series of business-related scenarios and topics that included entrepreneurship, health care, hospitality services, finance and technology.
University staffers were on hand to carry out mock interviews with the high schoolers and evaluate their presentations. Students were given five minutes to make their presentations.
