St. Joseph’s University, New York was named one of Money’s “Best Colleges in America,” earning 4.5 stars through a comprehensive rating that showcases the country’s top 745 colleges, as well as a 2024-2025 College of Distinction.
To compile the list of Best Colleges in America, Money assessed colleges and universities based on quality of education, graduation rates, cost of attendance, financial aid and alumni salaries, as well as dozens of other data points. Colleges of Distinction highlights institutions who demonstrate a commitment to providing an exceptional undergraduate education, fostering hands-on learning, strong student-faculty relationships, an active campus community and stellar student outcomes.
“These rankings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff,” said SJNY President Donald R. Boomgaarden, Ph.D. “I am incredibly proud of the high-quality programs we offer, ones that educate the whole person and have been the hallmark of this University for more than 100 years. I look forward to the bright future that lies ahead for St. Joseph’s.”
Money was founded in 1972 as a print magazine and continues to guide people to financial victories through up-to-date information, education and tools. Among the Best Colleges in America list, Money also publishes lists for best colleges per region in the U.S., as well as best public colleges.
