Michelle Papajohn, vice president for information technology and chief information officer at St. Joseph’s University (SJNY), was named to this year’s City & State’s Who’s Who in Emerging Tech list. The list is comprised of innovators, entrepreneurs, academics and others across various fields and professions in New York, including tech executives, government officials, IT experts, advocates and more.

With a career that spans more than 25 years, Papajohn has spent her time at SJNY ensuring that University stays ahead of the tech curve. As the institution’s first female vice president for information technology and chief information officer, she has modernized infrastructure, reinforced cybersecurity and introduced data-driven strategies that enhance student engagement.
Papajohn spearheaded the launch of a mobile identification system, a cybersecurity lab in Brooklyn and tech integration for a new student center on Long Island.
