In recognition of the Year of St. Joseph, the College community is taking an in-depth look at St. Joseph and his legacy.
St. Joseph’s President Donald R. Boomgaarden, Ph.D., will host a Q&A session with Sister Elizabeth Johnson C.S.J., Ph.D., a member of the College’s Board of Trustees, on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 p.m. via Zoom to help the College community learn more about St. Joseph.

S. Elizabeth is a Professor Emeritus of Fordham and the National Catholic Reporter has called her “one of the country’s most prominent theologians.” She additionally is the author of many acclaimed books, the recipient of 15 honorary doctorates, and a former president of both the Catholic Theological Society of America and the American Theological Society.
Pope Francis proclaimed 2021 as the “Year of St. Joseph” in December, highlighting the saint’s core values of serving his community, protecting his family, living a life of integrity, and being a hard worker.
