After a year of many virtual events, a lot of zoom classes and social-distanced interactions, SJC Long Island students, faculty and staff reunited Wednesday, Sept. 8 — the first day of fall 2021 classes — during the campus’ annual “Welcome Back Barbecue” on the Danzi Knoll.
The Campus Activites Board event was a huge success, as the SJC community gathered under sunny skies and enjoyed an assortment of lunch options and Mister Softee, while also having access to zip lining, a mechanical surfboard and a petting zoo.
