Students, faculty and staff at St. Joseph’s University, New York’s Long Island Campus enjoyed beautiful autumn weather as they celebrated the season during the annual Fall Fest Carnival Thursday, Nov. 3, on the Danzi Knoll.
Hosted by the Student Government Association (SGA), the event featured a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, games and prizes, a chance to interact with many of the 40+ student clubs and organizations on campus, a DJ, and, of course, plenty of free food. The event also featured performances by the SJLI Eaglettes, the SJLI Sharps and the Dance Team.
Maddy Frascogna, president of SGA, was thrilled with the event’s turnout.
“It was amazing to experience everyone’s hard work come together to create an event that so many students enjoyed,” said Frascogna, a sophomore double majoring in mathematics and computer science with a concentration in adolescence education. “I am beyond proud of all the clubs and organizations here on campus!
“It is difficult to pinpoint one favorite part of the Fall Fest Carnival, but the smiles on so many students’ faces will stick with me forever,” Frascogna added.
