John A. Danzi Athletic Center And Danzi Stadium • SJC Long Island
Long Island businessman John A. Danzi became an SJC trustee in 1997 and a major benefactor of the College. His generosity was recognized by naming the athletic center after him in 1998. The center includes a six-lane swimming pool, an NCAA regulation-sized gym, a fitness center and a dance studio. In 2012, SJC Long Island opened its new Outdoor Field Complex, located just east of the campus. To honor the Danzi Family’s continued support, the playing field at the complex was named Deborah and John A. Danzi Stadium.
