Tuohy Hall • SJC Brooklyn
Dedicated in 1978, the hall was named in honor of SJC’s first female president, S. Vincent Thérèse Tuohy, C.S.J., Ph.D. She was a 1939 SJC graduate who joined the faculty in 1940 and later became chair of the secondary education department. S. Vincent Thérèse spearheaded capital campaigns that made possible the building of McEntegart Hall Library and the Dillon Child Study Center.
