MORE THAN 200 GRADUATES of St. Joseph’s College participated at the school’s spring reunion weekend last April in New York City and at SJC Brooklyn.
Among the highlights were the reception held Friday night at Hudson Terrace in Manhattan and a luncheon Saturday at the University Club in Manhattan. Members of the classes of 1956 and 1966 returned to campus in Brooklyn on Sunday for tours and visits.
The Class of 1966 raised an unprecedented $100,000 for a scholarship. The total — a fitting tribute to SJC’s 100th anniversary — was anchored by two significant gifts from Ann Pavelka Smith and a classmate.
“The alumni love this event. They love to come back and reminisce about their time at SJC,” said Paige Carbone ’02, director of alumni engagement at SJC. “The College holds a very special place in their hearts.”
